Trains Wreck After Spikes Removed at Apish Creek
East bound Santa Fe flyer No. 6 wrecked near Apish Creek three miles from Hua Place at 130.8 m. Friday. The engine and most cars plunged into the creek. engine overturned. Engineer John Brown of Pueblo fatally injured. several passengers hurt. They were taken to Ladunta hospital. Investigation shows spikes were removed from a full rail.
