Marence Eddy withdraws his suit against Sarah Trerehy Eddy begun last March in the superior court at Lawrenceburg Kentucky. The report notes various other crimes and incidents across the country including a murder attempt, a fatal self harm, a fall from an electrical pole, a shooting in New York, a possible Russia sanctions report, and other distant items.
Relatives petition probate court to appoint a guardian for Charles Stoll, about 19, after alleging John Stoll, a bartender, habitually gave his son beer and sent him home intoxicated. Judge Merle X A Walker questioned the boy about drinking and will hear from the father as a witness.
Abandon hope for the safety of the steamer Kaliyuga and her 17 crew. Ponting and Centurion telegraphed marine officials that they completed a tour of Lake Huron and found no trace of the Kaliyuga, which is believed to have gone down in the recent storm.
Special to the Sun reports a blaze at a lumber yard in Anville Indiana starting from an electric light wire. Thorne Gay and crew fought the flames with damage estimated at a substantial figure. Territorial Hoooten Brothers Lumber Yard also noted in Terra Haute Indiana as a related site.
