A Summer Reckoning and Reunion at Grasslands
In a social drama, Rosamond Ewald learns love endures beyond deception as Brian Jeffrey, a farmer, reveals he kept his true life from her. At Grasslands, amid a season’s end reception, he explains their bond and sings, uniting lovers amid curious guests and a household secret. A French electrician promises storms, and a German navy trial and a Rhine raft voyage add public curiosities to the scene.
