Electrocution of 20 Year Old At Panhandle Round House
William Hergt, 20, of 1624 E Washington, a helper at the Panhandle round house, was electrocuted at 3 45 am Monday while trying to lift an iron shaft from a trolley. The shaft hooked over a live high voltage wire tearing insulation and sending current through his body. Two men assisted him. current was cut and he fell lifeless. Coroner and details scarce, victim described as promising mechanic.
