Funeral of a Pioneer Elizabeth Swarm

She was the wife of Joseph Swarm and the daughter of John Long a tailor by night farmer by day. Sailor Killed in Freight Wreck near Johnstown
A sailor claiming to be an Indianapolis boy was killed in a freight wreck at Johnstown 90 miles east of Pittsburgh. He rode in a box car with two companions and said he was the son of an Indianapolis grain merchant and had served two years in the navy. The handkerchief bore the name T. Haggens and an envelope in his pocket was addressed to Joseph Corrigan of Danbury Connecticut.
