Minnie Carter and James Jones both colored were charged with highway robbery in police court Tuesday. Patrolman Crabtree arrested them for allegedly robbing Carl Koch a brewery employee. Jones is Gabriel Jones brother, an ex representative. The woman claimed she cried for Jim and another struggle followed as Koch says he was robbed of $27. The case against Jones was weak and he was placed on his own recognizance. The woman’s case was continued.
