John Reilley a well known South Sider dropped dead Saturday at about 4 20 near Union and Philadelphia Streets. He had heart trouble and died likely from it. He was a bartender at Tim Charles saloon Georgia and Illinois for 18 years. Coroner’s autopsy held. funeral at St Toon's church tomorrow at 9 o clock local time.
Cav. Macrhews returned from Madison Saturday morning after three speeches in Flattsville Kent and Madison. He spoke to farmers at Hartsville and Kent and said free silver support among Republicans would be strong. He estimated Indiana’s Bryan majority under 10,000 with 100 gold democrats and at least 200 free silver republicans in Jefferson county. He spoke at Arcadia Saturday afternoon.
