Henry Gill, father of a murdered girl found in Yellow Mill Pond, traveled 70 miles through a storm to visit Dr. Nancy Guilford, the nurse charged with the crime. He went to the jail but did not see her. Guilford cried out not to be seen by him and refused to talk about the case.
