Indiana Parole Law Shows Mixed Results Over Eight Years
State Board of Charities and Corrections reports eight and a half years of parole under the indeterminate sentence law. Of 3,192 men released to parole, 62 died, 1,737 completed probation and were discharged, and others remain under reporting. Delinquents total 787 with 48 returned and 269 at large. Paroled success stands at 7 percent. Prison earnings were $313,484 with $29,570.58 expenses. reformatories earned $64,284.15 with $100,365.06 on hand. The board praises the law as a needed reform tool.

Masons Banquet At Scottish Rite Temple In Indiana
