Plans by Schoepf Dolan and Morgan to close deals for new properties to create an unbroken trolley system from Hantsville to Indianapolis with connections to St Louis, and to link Chicago Cleveland Toledo and other southern cities. The syndicate has acquired Columbus Buckeye Lake Newark and Columbus Newark Zanesville routes and owns lines between Dayton Springfield Columbus and other key towns, with several new traction roads under construction to extend service toward Lima Danville Fort Wayne and Toledo.

Thief Nabs Cash Drawer From Gest & Son Grocery

Patrolman Okey captured Harry Woods during a robbery at Gest and Son's grocery on Hillside Avenue. The two assailants, Woods and Howard, fled with the cash drawer containing ecash. The suspects were pursued, arrested elsewhere, and Woods waived examination while Howard died later.

Train robbers arrested on Cincinnati line

Ray Stanford 74 and Sonn Tudor were arrested on a Cincinnati Hamilton and Dayton passenger train at 3:00 AM in bib city. They are charged with picking the pocket of Charles Bastin of Center Kentucky. Railroad officer Charles Meierholt detained them after hearing Bastin complain to the conductor. A search failed to locate the money until a 20 bill was found behind a radiator.
