Vandalia System Receiver Appointed After Insolvency Hearings

Volney T. Malott of the Tudiana national bank was named receiver by Judge Woods to operate the Vandalia railroad system in Indiana and Illinois. Princeton student in jail for raising counterfeit bills

A Princeton student, Fercy B Sullivan, is jailed in Marion County on a charge of passing counterfeit $2 to $10 bills. Indicted by a federal grand jury in Indianapolis, he denies the crime claiming mistaken identity.
