Widow commits morphine death after lover’s delay
Florence Murphy a 35 year old widow and mother of two, employed at Admiral Brown’s home, died Sunday night from morphine after a 35 minute delay by her lover Al Johnson. She failed to meet him at 138 North Alabama street at 7 pm and died Monday morning. Local doctors arrived late but could not save her. Her mother lives in Montezuma Indiana.
