Members of the Indianapolis club conducted a practice flight of racing pigeons from Louisville to Indianapolis on Thursday morning. Birds owned by Edward Tullois Patrolman Schroeder Charles Aichorn and William Preller were sent to Louisville on Wednesday and expected to finish the return trip in about two hours but arrived later than scheduled. Owners remain confident Indianapolis birds will win when the race with Louisville pigeons takes place.
Bannister 30 of Wabash Ind died at the Sherman house at 4 am Thursday while traveling from Sunbright Tenn health resort to his home. He was under care of W Kilmer and wife of Wabash who accompanied him from Sunbright. The party reached the hotel late Wednesday and he worsened before a doctor could reach him. He leaves a widow and one child in Wabash.

They also plan two additions including a 40 by 60 foot warehouse extension and a 50 by 50 foot factory structure. An echo of a recent divorce granted Mrs. David M. Wysong was heard in police court. After she applied for a divorce the husband allegedly assaulted her and others at the house. He was arrested but the case was continued after the divorce hearing. He failed to appear and his attorney could not locate him. The $25 bond furnished by Mr. Murphy was forfeited. The assault affidavit remained for service.
The State board of medical examination and registration has licensed 82 midwives in Indiana, a small portion of the total practicing without license. Ten-year practitioners must be licensed. college graduates are admitted on license, others via examination. Five licensed after exam. in Indianapolis, not more than 12 licensed, while it is believed more than twice that number practice without license.
The funeral of Dr Bilijah Mendenhall 82 who practiced medicine over 60 years in Indianapolis was held Thursday afternoon at the family residence 314 World Twelfth Street Rev G M Smith of Hall Place M E church conducted the service He is survived by his widow and three sons residing in Illinois
