In Frankfort Indiana on May 2 Hi Brooks Thurefay scaled the tall flag staff on the court house tower to raise a new flag. The flag stands four feet and eight inches above ground. This was his second climb for the flag. Brooks earned 15 dollars and appears to hold a near monopoly on the local flag-raising business. Street improvement costs were set recently by the council.
