He cites lateral slipping on the Santa Cruz mountains about eight and a half feet with no vertical movement. New York May 19 Trustees of New York Life Insurance Company practically admit Gio. W. Perkins will not be renominated as trustee and will retire from the company soon. His departure would end the long Morgan connection with New York Life and its sizable assets. Perkins began as an office boy, later joined J P Morgan & Co in 1901 as the firm's first vice president, rising to a salary of 74000 a year.
