At Thirtyeth Street and Morse Avenue a Union traction car overturned injuring numerous riders. Among the injured are Mrs. Paden of Marion with serious back and spine injuries, Mrs. Cole of Logansport with a broken arm and dislocated shoulder, Dr. H A Woodruff with a broken arm and head cut, William Cain of Marion with a broken leg, Albert Knight of Marion with a head cut and bruises, John Carroll of Anderson with serious spine and shoulder injuries, J. B Adams of Marion with crushed right hand, William Riley of Fairmount with crushed arm and leg, John Graves of Marion with crushed wand and leg bruises, Fox Wheeler of Marion with ankle sprain and back injury, Burt Bragg the motorman with crushed and internal injuries. The car had come from Indianapolis and was running late when it struck a curve and overturned after leaving the trucks. The incident followed a prior accident miles out of Marion where conductor John Masters was thrown from the platform and his arm broken.
