Frank Girton, already jailed four times, was arrested Monday night for petit larceny after entering a house to make a call and taking a $1.40 pocketbook. He pled guilty in police court, was sent to criminal court, and then sentenced by Judge Alford to one to three years at Michigan City. A deputy sheriff escorted him there within 24 hours.
