Riverside park will take the major share of the 1910 park improvements with $115,000 to $120,000 available. Two thirds covers maintenance, while the rest funds equipment and internal improvements. New outdoor gym apparatus will appear in Military park this summer and two new baseball diamonds in Riverside park. The botanical garden remains, but its location and flood risk lead the park board to avoid further investment there.

Automobile Upends Injuring Driver Near Irvington
An auto overturned on the road east of Irvington injuring Marian Mingle of Ingalls Indiana. He suffered a cut to the left foot from glass and nearly died.
