Great Lodge Day Knights Parade and Cornerstone Rite

The Great Lodge day of the Knights of Pythias featured a grand parade with 4,400 in uniform and a total turnout exceeding 19,000 including officers and delegations from across Indiana. Congressman James E. Watson spoke at Tomlinson Hall after ceremonies at Grand Castle Hall where the cornerstone was laid with a silver trowel donation. The event included addresses by Mayor Walter, Supreme Chancellor Shivetes, and others, with music by the Indianapolis band and Arion quartet.
