Jefferson county man identified as J W Roberts ended his life by drinking carbolic acid at the Union station after arriving drenched from rain. He refused antidotes at the hospital, dying 30 minutes later in great agony. Coroner Beck confirmed the name and Jefferson county home. a small bottle labeled Geo. Borst druggist was found on him.
