Congress Has Work Enough for Ten Weeks
Washington May 3 Congress faces an extended session as leaders hint at ten weeks more. The house has not yet sent the administration's first bill to Taft for approval. Arizona and New Mexico statehood remains on the senate calendar after house passage. The postal savings bank bill stalls in the house committee while railroad legislation looms as a likely first move. Several conservation and anti injunction measures, plus federal charters for corporations, await action in both chambers.
