Joseph Leighter, an elderly resident of the Soldiers' Home, returned home Wednesday and brutally attacked his two daughters with a hatchet accusing them of creating trouble with his wife. The women were severely injured and believed fatally hurt. his wife intervened and was also cut, Leighter is jailed.
