DROWNS SELF IN CANAL AS MEN LOOK ON
Charles Ettinger a street car motorman aged about 38 drowned himself in the canal at West Street today after writing two letters to his sister Mollie Ettinger and brother Fred Ettinger. Neighbors delayed informing his sisters as they were downtown. He left a note citing ill health and despair and asked to be buried in Crown Hill Cemetery. Police and divers searched the canal for hours without success. Ettinger had recently suffered from hearing loss and declining health.

Marion Ind March 25 Argument in the Krauss divorce may not be completed until tomorrow when the case probably will go to the jury. A Mr Waltz spoke for the plaintiff this morning leaving J A Hindman for the defendant and G A Henry and John Burns for the plaintiff. Waltz spoke for three hours. The plaintiff had used five hours and thirty five minutes at noon today and the defense two hours.
