Born in London Ontario, he came to the United States at age six, lived in Trenton N J, and later settled in Indianapolis. A former foreman in a rolling mill for 18 years, he retired seven years ago and remained active in local work with the Knights of Pythias and the Order of American Workmen. He leaves two sons, John H. and T J. Deane, and two married daughters in Trenton and Philadelphia. Funeral arrangements handled by Flanner Buchanan under the auspices of the Order of American Workmen and Knights of Pythias.
