Harry Stortz a 30 year old painter for Kingan & Co. was instantly killed by a fall about 9 a m Friday. The coroner was notified by James Duncan paymaster who said little beyond the fact of the fall and instant death. Witnesses could not be found as they had gone to Stortz s home at 111 Douglass St to inform his family.
