L. L. Syfers Dead In Jamestown Community
L. L. Syfers of Jamestown Ohio died at his son's home on Capitol Avenue after a six month illness. Born 1815 in Waynesburg Pennsylvania, he moved to Jamestown in 1885 and became president of the Farmers' and Traders' Bank for 32 years. He was a Mason and Campbellite church member, survived by his wife and two children, with burial planned in Jamestown after Monday's removal and Tuesday's service. Indianapolis hires copper plate engraver Wm. B. Burford from New York City for printing work.
