TAWART TRUST IN OWL FIELD INDIANA OIL BATTLE GAINS Via Cincinnati Capitalists
In Muncie Indiana on March 17 reports say Cincinnati capitalists bought key oil properties from the Standard Oil trust amid a wave of outsized bids. Five shell properties changed hands as the trust lost leverage, with White Oil, Fera, and another lease entering Cincinnati control. Purchases valued around 130,000 each benefited stockholders, while the trust faced renewed opposition and a pending pipeline shift to Manhattan interests as development efforts resume.
