Tragic suicide of Minnie Barker in West Indianapolis home
In a ivy cottage at 76 Arbor Ave West Indianapolis Minnie Barker hanged herself with a bedpost cord. Her husband, painter William Barker, returned to find the door locked and later discovered her body. A farewell note blamed no one yet hinted at family tensions. The coroner called it self-inflicted and a funeral is planned for Saturday with Rev. Davidson officiating.
