August Groeschel a 45 year old laborer of 121 W Twenty seventh street was killed when a tree toppled into a three foot deep excavation while he tended a vacant lot at Michigan and Delaware streets. He died at the City hospital half an hour after the accident. Campbell has been arrested in connection with the incident.
