Mr and Mrs Beary Henley of Carmel were killed when a south bound Monon passenger train struck their buggy at a crossing while en route to visit a son. The horse also died. Dr Frank Hearsey found them dead at the scene. both were long time Carmel residents with three grown children. The accident occurred at 7:25 a m.
