Warrant service for Charles R Williams editor of the News will follow in Indianapolis.
Twenty nine horses valued at 10000 dollars died after poisoning at John Dolan’s stables on Jackson avenue and Lent street Corona within two weeks. Police detectives and ASPCA agents guard the scene. A man and a woman are suspected. Five horses were found dead today. Arsenic is suspected in food or water trough.
W H Pauley the auctioneer has purchased the McCreary farm consisting of 0.48 acres in Greenfield Indiana for an undisclosed price. The deal marks Pauley's entry into farm ownership and follows his long career handling local sales. Further terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Captain William D. Gearhart, who assaulted Mrs. Anna Baxter at 7125 Bennett Street, leaped from a third story window at Pittsburg hospital and was killed. Baxter is in serious condition. witnesses say the attack was unprovoked. Gearhart slashed himself with a pen knife before the fall.
The Senate and House reached a consensus on the merchants association bill on public accounting and uniform bookkeeping. Republicans voted 6 to 22 to concur with house amendments. Democrats secured a victory by reverting to the governor’s limited role in administration while keeping the governor in executive charge of the public examining bureau.
Forty Salvation Army leaders arrived from Indiana cities to participate in a city congress led by Lieut. Col. Scott of Detroit assisted by Mrs Scott Maj Escott Maj McPherson and Adjt Emma Westbrook. Peter Fangan, 50, a moulder, was found dead in his bed by his wife at 932 E. Georgia Street on Monday morning. He had been ill on Sunday and seen a physician, but his condition was not regarded as serious.
