The Indianapolis gas company sold to a New York syndicate with both natural gas and gas-light assets transferred. The price is $2,000,000 with installments from March 15 to June 2. The new company will be capitalized at $2,000,000 with bonds of $2,750,000 to be issued and managed by Central Trust Company. Purchasers include E. C. Benedict and Baron Jerzmanowski, among others, owners of major gas works. The sale consolidates two prior companies into the Indianapolis Gas Company.
