June 24 Parib reports that France seeks a conference on Morocco arguing a majority will back her stance. The article notes German pressure and a potential pretext to engage the Sultan of Morocco directly as negotiations unfold.
Six homing pigeons carrying greetings from Mayor Wells of St Louis to Mayor Collins of Boston were released from the Star-Chronicle building. A gypsy man George Wilabo searches for his 11 year old daughter Koranka said to be with a band in Leon street. Chicago dispatch reports Frank McComums, a waiter, fired twice at his wife then killed himself early Saturday. The woman fainted and was saved by assistance. In a separate boarding house case in South Chicago seven residents were found overcome by gas, among them George Marit and Katherine Maria, with others named in the report.

Special to the Goshen show Miss Alice Stutz of Middlebury inherits the estate of her almost blind sister Miss Mary Stutz after a gesture before dying in New York. The decedent, Mrs Speed, owned stock in the City National Bank of Goshen and real estate in Goshen and Kansas City. Miss Stutz, 50, is unmarried.
Aq Tetu of Nashville choked on a gold crown fragment found in his mouth after biting into a necklace piece at the Auditorium Cafe in Chicago. A traveling jewelry salesman who was present offered the gem for a price as Tetu, secretary of a telephone association, reacted with shock and humor.
Mise Beatrice Winans daughter of Mr and Mrs Rave Winans of Baltimore married Saturday to Prince Henri de Bearn secretary of the French embassy at St Petersburg. The ceremony was in Saint Crorian church with the ambassador and Mrs Robert McCormuk among guests.
