They have raised 3000 dollars and Tubbs will stay on the payroll indefinitely. Tubbs worked for Subcontractor Shaler on the Park Avenue tunnel section. In Tacoma on the same date a new company was formed with 25 million dollars capital by Pennsylvania and Wisconsin capitalists to control iron, coal, and lime lands and build a blast furnace and steel plant. Senator Foster will be president.
