The First National Bank of Fort Wayne sues the Indianapolis and Broad Ripple Rapid Transit Company for $20,000 on notes totaling $20,714.74. Allegations claim funds were given to R. T. Ripper Strikes Three in Solingen daylight attack

In Solingen near Cologne on Sunday a man known as the Ripper stabbed three girls in broad daylight before vanishing. Police report no trace of the assailant and the victims provide only vague descriptions. The spree had previously reached Cologne and Muenster.

Body of Capt J 9 A Sturte vant Found Near Fort St Philip

Telegrams from New Orleans report the body of Capt J 9 A Sturtevant pilot of the yacht Paul Jones found near Fort St Philip. He was 65 and likely asleep when the vessel blew up at night. The yacht’s owner and Mr Jones believe the ship anchored when disaster struck and other crew may be found. A victim named Puree Jones, 18, of Fern Ridge St Louis county is also identified among the casualties.
