Special Train to Coatesvillefor Mrs Wallace Recovery

A special engine and coach were sent to Coatesville to move Mrs Zelda Seguin Wallace toward Indianapolis after a wreck. She suffered a comfortable night and is viewed as recovering. The other injured include a man from Waco, Texas, who remains at a bed in Bellefontaine cemetery area. John W Norton died from his injuries. his burial planned at Elks Rent. A diamond ring vanished from Norton and suspicions target a local youth.

Firemen Injured as Roof Drops on Fire at 12 B Street

West Indianapolis firefighters Oliver McKinney and Horace Colvin were injured when the roof collapsed during a blaze at 12 B Avenue. Mrs Gore occupied the house but was away. Fire originated from an overheated stove. building and furniture destroyed. Colvin suffered a head cut and was taken home. McKinney sustained head bruises and neck burns but remained on duty with a bandaged head.

Accused of Forgery and Embezzlement Arrest in Ricamono

S C Hamrick of Greencastle Ind arrested late Tuesday night on forgery and embezzlement charges. He allegedly failed to remit sale proceeds from Met mick harvesting machinery of Indianapolis firm while in Putnam county. He is said to have forged his father's name on a $ note. He will be taken to Putnam county for trial.
