Law With Chief Metzger Using Force in Arrest Trial
The Robert Metzger assault case on John Farrington features defense and state arguments over whether the police chief used necessary force during the arrest. Bachelder claims unlawful, excessive force and reputational bias. Ryan contends force was reasonable and supported by testimony. The trial hinges on Metzger’s intent and whether Farrington’s condition justified action.
