Albert McLane 1 Year Old Dies of Pneumonia in Indianapolis
Albert McLane died at his home 365 Cornell Ave Sunday from pneumonia at age one. Born in Germantown near Philadelphia his family were Scotch. He moved to Indianapolis in 1860 and joined the English Lutheran Church in 1886 serving as deacon for 20 years. He married Eliza Fox at 23. she died 30 years later. His second wife Kate Benner survives with one brother Alexander and a sister Mrs Cline in Philadelphia. He served in the war, was an Odd Fellows past noble grand and held various lodge memberships. Funeral services by Odd Fellows and K of P at his home then the First Lutheran Church Tuesday at 1 pm. He was a decorator by trade and loved flowers.

A Night Fire Hoax At Denison Hotel Sparks Alarm
A jingling hotel bell sent Night clerk Carey to 217 in a Denison hotel where Mr Hutton at 247 claimed a Grand Opera House block fire. Fire crews found no blaze. Hutton said a man put it out. later Flatton hinted flames emerged from a perforated stove pipe.

Collision at Pennsylvania and Michigan Streets
A street car and a fire engine collided at the corner of Pennsylvania and Michigan streets Sunday evening. John Winters, a lineman, received a black eye and a sprain.
