A shell explosion during an artillery drill in Turin on Tuesday night killed two gunners and wounded several others. Also reported: George Wilson, the Dead Broke pedestrian, returned to Cincinnati after a 12 month trek around the U.S. border, claiming a $1500 wager. A cabman, Harry Baum, was sentenced to 15 years for the murder of Kate Rich. Weather forecasts for Indiana predict warmer conditions tonight with possible snow on Thursday.
The Briarbrooke hunt club near Bedford Indiana sustains secret talks with a forest genius to stock about a dozen foxes for future hunts. Two foxes remain in club custody after a prior chase, while a scornful letter to a Wisconsin correspondent is cited. Next hunt expected in about a month.

Wrirksstone Ga Jan 9 An American boy obeying his father shoots and kills John Kirkham after a razor attack and a failed pistol shot. George Brown and his father William Brown were involved in the earlier struggle as Kirkham slashed with a razor. The elder Brown handed his pistol to the boy who fired four times, killing Kirkham. Indications are the older Brown will die from his injuries.
Thomas Albert of company C sixteenth regiment state troops was found dead Wednesday morning near Bennett Brook rifle range in Braddock Pennsylvania with a bullet in his heart. He was regarded as one of the best marksmen in the National Guard.

Maryland and New York social items mix with deaths and marriages, listing many names and local events.
