Fire destroys annex to public school in North Indianapolis
A defective flue caused a fire at 935 to 341 W Thirtieth St in North Indianapolis about 4 30 a m Thursday. The one story frame building housed Montgomery Bros grocers and Benj Schmidt hardware store and served as an annex to public school No 41. Loss totals about 2000 with grocers hit hardest by smoke and water. Schmidt's loss is slight and school will be closed for a couple weeks. Building damaged about 250. Both stocks and the building were insured. Schmidt owned the building.

Dead at 103 Dinah Snowden Aged Slave-Holder in Indiana
Dinah Snowden aged allegedly 103 died at her son John Abbott’s home in Indiana after a delayed coroner’s report.
