In Columbus Ohio on January 4 Hanna denounces Dick and blames him for deceiving about Kurtz backers as pressure mounts. Kurtz block causes Republican hew to force loyals to quit. Springfield voters march to press governor to back Hanna for senator.
William Wrench, in poor humor and inebriated, accosted Louis Dubowich a second hand dealer at 10 BE Washington Street. He demanded that the stove he noticed be fired up, then hurled the stove into the gutter, breaking it into many pieces. Police and onlookers arrived. Wrench was removed to the county jail in a rough state.

Bert Williams faced police court after a theft claim tied to Phil Carey, 226 E Washington St, with a guard arresting him. he will be tried Thursday.
