Six Inch Splinter Fells Man at Royal Center
Ind, Jan 1 Homer George toppled from a chair while laughing, the chair tipped onto two back legs. His head struck a base board and a six inch splinter buried under the scalp. He was rushed to a physician where the scalp was cut to remove the splinter.

Woman Files Suit for Support Then Attempts Suicide
Shortly after Raymer left home, Mrs. Raymer visited Blackridge Wolf and Barnes and had them file a circuit court action against her husband for support. The suit was filed but withdrawn after she attempted to take her own life.
