Jealous lover shoots Mrs Olive Cloud in her home
Louis Snyder a saloon keeper, shot and killed Mrs Olive Cloud at her residence on Prie street during a quarrel Friday night. He fled, was pursued, arrested at the home of his son-in-law, and taken to the station. He claimed jealousy and drunkenness drove the tragedy. Cloud, 35, formerly Shaw, had a troubled marriage to Cloud and a son aged 15. Snyder, 45, widower with two daughters, denied intent and said the shooting occurred during a jealous outburst after leaving a saloon with Cloud.
