A sale Monday showed rising values as W D Allison sold a 100 foot frontage lot on Washington boulevard near Twenty fifth street to Edward Evans president of Evans Milling for 10800. The lot had become 200 by 300 feet in 1903 bought for 2500 with half sold to Evans for 7500 two years ago. In seven years property value rose to 21600 up 125 percent. Evans plans a residence he will not sell for 20000. Nearby a Fortieth and Meridian lot 257 by 200 feet sold in 1899 for 1200 and bought by Arthur C Newby in 1905 for 10600 with option at 20000 refused by current owner. G W Johnson sold 10 acres at thirty eighth and Washington in 1903 for 1000 per acre and last Saturday sold five acres opposite at 5200 per acre. Meridian Heights acre lots three years ago were under 500 with two 10 acre tracts recently selling at about 4600 per acre.

Milk wagon wreck injures county milk driver in fog
A dairy wagon driven by 52 year old Robert M. Minor was struck by an outbound Ft Harrison interurban at the Millersville road crossing near the city. Minor suffered two broken ribs and facial cuts and was taken to St Vincent's hospital. The crash occurred in heavy fog as Minor attempted to deliver milk to about 300 customers. The horses survived uninjured and authorities planned to resume milk deliveries later that day. The interurban car was operated by Motorman Ham Young and Conductor Clarence Anderson.
