At Gallow's landing a two room boat home on the Schuylkill river, Sarah Wheaton aged 7 and her daughter Miriam aged 19 burned to death Tuesday night. Mrs Wheaton had typhoid, confinement in a bed on a rough mattress near the kitchen where the fire started. The daughter perished near the doorway as if trying to aid her mother to escape.
