Washtixeton Indiana December 27 Uncle Jacob Dischart the oldest man in the Hoosier state died at the county poor farm after a long life of travel and work. Born February 19 1783 in Seidelberg Germany he came to Virginia in 1731 and later moved west. He ran a wagon shop and was famous for the Dischart wagon. He married Lizzie Trauber at age 73. she left him soon after. He remained sharp and fond of tobacco and liquor until his death.
