Cadger tale on begging streets and a hustling night
A vivid diary style account follows George Harris a cadger and street observer as he narrates encounters with beggars con men and a bustling night in the city. He recalls tailors hustlers shortages and a sequence of clipped exchanges and stumbles through crowded blocks ending near a station and a brick building.
