Woman objects as Bruner frees horse owner in police case
Mrs. Thaeter bought Harry Bruner's horse Mollie for 30 dollars on November 21. The horse limped after being driven and later died after Bruner allegedly doped it with ether and laudanum. Acting judge Reagan discharged Bruner from obtaining money under false pretenses in police court. In a separate note, Sterling electric company won three of four large contracts at a Chicago convention.
