The state will pay $8 per head plus burial costs. several horses came from Wisconsin and Minnesota. quarantine will move all foreign horses out of Indiana to prevent spread. about 1060 farmers worked with the affected teams, though no farmer cases are reported yet.
Charles Bracken was fined 10 and v days in police court for living with Effie Corburn after his former wife testified against him. The judge later increased the penalty to 25 and 60 days in the workhouse. Bracken spoke ten words to his ex wife totaling five days per word.

The two-year-old son of George Tankson, colored, neighboring the Higgins home, was among the cases. Total yearly cases to December 18 reached 257, with 19 in the Dec 16 to 18 period, below last year's totals.

Huyette under the auspices of lodges Nos and 25 of the National Association of Stationary Engineers. Huyette draws on practical experience and several manufacturers were expected to attend.
