Commission wants its order obeyed in rail rate case
Judge W J Wood of the Railroad Commission met with rail road officials at Bedford on Friday to consider proceedings aimed at restraining the Southern Indiana and the Baltimore and Ohio Southwestern from charging more than 50 cents per ton for hauling coal from the Linton district to Lehman. Southern Indiana has published a tariff at the 50 cent rate, while the other railroad continues to charge the old rate.
